The Fight In The East

The playoff fight in the eastern conference has really started with only 3 games left for most teams. Magic, Nets, Pistons, Heat and Hornets all can still get the last 3 places in the playoffs.

However, Charlotte look less likely to make it as they need to beat both the Pistons, Cavs and Magic in their last 3 games and hope other teams slip up. Very unlikely given the circumstances.

Remaining games:

  • Nets – Bucks (A), Pacers (H), Heat (H)
  • Magic – Celtics (A), Hornets (A)
  • Pistons – Hornets (H), Grizzlies (H), Knicks (A)
  • Heat – Raptors (A), 76ers (H), Nets (A)
  • Hornets – Pistons (A), Cavaliers (A), Magic (H)
  • After all these games, this is how I predict the table will finish.
      • 6th – Pistons (42-40)
      7th – Magic (41-41)
      8th – Nets (40-42)
      9th – Heat (38-44)
      10th – Hornets (38-44)
  • Personally I would love to see Heat make it just so we could see a playoff D-Wade one last time. But it’s probably not going to happen looking at their remaining games
